Guardian College was formed in 2006 through a merger of two Idaho proprietary schools, The CPR Connection and Tier One EMT. Both schools had been operating for a number of years teaching EMT and Paramedic classes authorized by the Idaho State EMS Bureau.

The Best of Accredited EMT & CPR Training

By joining forces, Guardian College had the necessary staff and resources to pursue national accreditation and expand its mobile training team, which brings its quality EMS training to government agencies and businesses worldwide. Guardian College is accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools, and is a member of the Northwest Career Colleges Federation.

Idaho’s Largest EMS Training Facility

The largest EMS training facility in the state of Idaho, Guardian College now offers a full range of EMT Basic and Advanced courses and a Paramedic Program, as well as providing EMS Continuing Education. Guardian College is the largest independent training center for the American Heart Association in Idaho.

New Personal Trainer Program

Beginning in March, 2011, Guardian College is pleased to offer a Comprehensive Personal Trainer program, offered at Guardian College as an onsite educational program with lab and internship classes located at nearby Idaho Athletic Club locations.  It will be the first of its kind in the Pacific Northwest.
